Why do soldiers like wearing sunglasses?

I have seen pictures of almost every of soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan wearing sunglasses (of course, Western troops). In instant thinking, wearing sunglasses will bother target sighting. Do they do it because to look intimidating? Or to hide their eyes where they look at? Or anything else?Dante

Where can I get inexpensive black polarized sunglasses for soldier in Iraq?

Trying to prepare care package for a US Marine recently sent to Iraq. He wants black polarized sunglasses. I want him to get good pair. Hoping some can advise on good inexpensive sunglasses to meet his need and wish.Daryl
