Are Maui Jim sunglasses really good for the price?

My husband ordered a pair today thru LensCrafters and got rx lenses for them. Loves the style and fit. Are they going to be as good as they seem quality-wise? Total cost was over $600 for them so I am wondering what's different about them.Lavonna
