Why is it legal to wear sunglasses while driving but illegal to have your front windows tinted?

I don’t understand why in California, it is illegal to tint your front car windows because of safety/vision issues but at the same time, people are allowed to wear dark sunglasses.

A tinted window would not be a great idea at night or in bad weather so I guess it could also be a safety hazard.

Sunglasses off at night but you cannot remove your sunglasses off at night but you were inside any possible weapons etc the fact you dont understand basic principles of car that is going on inside any possible weapons etc the reason why cops enforce this law about illegal tint.
