How to get rid of scratches on non-prescription sunglasses?

Written on October 27, 2008 – 6:00 pm | by admin

Hi. I have fairly cheap plastic clip-on sunglasses that attach over my prescription glasses. Today they fell out of my pocket and the left lens received several horizontal scratches. I don’t really relish the idea of shelling out another $15 for cheap plastic, so if there is a way to get rid of the scratches, that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance!
Believe it or not, they’re $15 at the optometrist’s at Walmart. I don’t know anyplace that would be cheaper/less quality, but. :)

depending on the type, rubbing them with minty toothpaste such as original crest can work, this works by removing plastic so you have a smoother area around it, if you have any type of coated lenses it will remove the coating so only use it on 1s with solid plastic
